my trip to the pacific northwest is almost upon me, and soon after i will be moving. It's like a dream come true. i'll be in one of the most beautiful areas of the world with so much surreal mystery in its wilderness. all i can think of is climbing amongst giant trees and ancient fern with my best friend ziggy. i also plan on picking up my once favorite hobby of fly fishing again. who knows, i may even kick it with Sasquatch. there is a chance that i'll be moving to portland in december rather than february b/c of a job opportunity, and after i'm eligible for instate tuition i plan to attend grad school for philosophy. cool steel gray days here i come. =)

my home town chadron nebraska where i lived for most of my years recently caught on fire due to lighting. it is surrounded by the black hills forest and the forest is where the fire originated from. here is a video of the destruction.

got a new fuckin job. i get to drive fork lifts and work with power tools and lumber. still going to work at the shit shack thow. two jobs and full time student, i believe i'll die young. on another note i plan to see bob dylan next month.

La Mer thank you for always being here for me, if it wasn't for you I believe i would have gave up a long time ago. but the great 5 weeks are almost upon us and hopefully we will get to go to New York for new years and we can kick it with my family in queen's.

got to go back to dallas this weekend. it was so fucking nice to see my family again and find out what new things have happened. my bro carlos is going to be having another baby so little carlitos will have a buddy. damn he is getting so big. i can remember when he was born. the first thing carlos and i did afterwords was go have a cigarette and a beer in the parking lot of the hospital, i was so happy for carlos and jennifer because i knew that they would make bad ass parents. i fucking love you guys to death and miss you very much oh yeah and by the way your new house has to be one of the nicest i've ever been in. with much love -MGM
